SMART SORTED® – what does it mean?

SMART SORTED with 1000 pieces is the puzzle invention of puzzleYOU. We sort the puzzle pieces with your photo into 40 separate SMART mini-boxes. Each mini-box contains 25 puzzle pieces, which form a coherent part of the puzzle. You can now decide how many pieces to put in one go - 25, 50, 75 ...1000.. If you want the puzzling to be as easy as possible, just take 1 mini-box, open it along the perforation and then take out piece by piece and put the puzzle pieces from left to right.

  • Do you process portrait- as well as landscape photographs?

    You may always upload both portrait and landscape photographs.

  • What should I do if I would like to put the completed puzzle on the wall?

    You may use our Puzzle Conserver to glue your photo puzzle. Alternatively you may put it into one of our Puzzle Frames with which it can be put safely on the wall.

  • Is it possible to see the actual status of my order?
    1. We will send you an order confirmation containing a green button via which you may check the status of your order. Please do not delete this confirmation.
    2. By clicking the green button, you will be lead to your personal status site. On this site, you may find all the information about your order and the actual status of every single item. After your order has been shipped, a tracking number with which you may track the delivery will appear.
    3. The tracking number, that allows you to see the actual status of the delivery, can also be found in the shipping confirmation that will be sent to you after your order has left production.

In 2021, we purposely stopped foiling our puzzle boxes. Anna, Head of Customer Services, explains how this came about - and why the sustainably made puzzle box makes your self-designed 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles even more beautiful.

puzzleYOU is becoming greener - be a part of it too!

  • We save up to 4 tonnes of plastic waste each year
    -

    Since 2021, we at puzzleYOU are saving up to four tonnes of plastic waste each year. How do we achieve this? It's actually quite simple: We no longer foil our puzzle boxes with plastic. To be honest: the plastic film around the box is just torn open and thrown away. Unnecessary plastic waste that we would like to avoid - for the sake of our environment.

    For this reason we have developed a special protective layer that makes our box especially resistant and scratch-proof. This eliminates the need for plastic film to protect the box on its way to the customer.

    To ensure that the bottom and top of the box stay together, we attach small seals to the sides. These seals can be removed without leaving any residues.

    The protective layer of emulsion on the box also ensures that the colours are even more brilliant and the design is of a higher quality with a very pleasant haptic feel.

    By the way: Our puzzle board is equally sustainable, as it is made of 100% recycled paper.

    Did you know that all our jigsaw puzzles and games are only produced "on demand". This means that we do not produce any product, whether it is an personalised jigsaw puzzle or a pairs game, until we have received the order from the customer. In this way, we avoid unnecessary storage and save valuable resources.
